A Message from our General and Artistic Directors

MIOpera's 2025 Opera Goes to Church Season has ended, and what an amazing season it was! We produced 3 full productions. Hosted masterclasses at both Illinois Central College and Eureka College, educating the next generation of great singers and we performed out in the community on Illinois State University's Concerts on the Quad. MIOpera's foray into Spanish Art Song & Opera brought new sounds and wonderful music to our patrons in Central Illinois!

We are so excited about our coming 2026 Season and have some BIG announcements coming in January. MIOpera is looking forward to collaborating and partnering with new venues, arts organizations and educational institutions! Audience members came from all over Central Illinois and beyond to see our productions. MIOpera is quickly becoming a leader in producing professional Opera, Musical Theater and Concerts regionally!
